Our pond is thriving with beautiful life, surrounded by tall pines and palms. We have a menagerie of wild birds. I captured this snowy Egret in my lens, but instead of just painting him on my block of wood, I laid out a 24kt landing for him and painted oils on top. I like painting ON gold leaf.
